The increasing time pressures on the volunteers who run tennis clubs mean that clubs need to be smart about the effort that they put into running things. In many ways, clubs need to think and act like small businesses. This means putting in place good governance structures and policies, systems and processes that allow the club to run smoothly and with a minimum of effort from those volunteers.
