Tennis New Zealand Professional Development Updating Points

 

From July 1 2008, to achieve TNZ Certified Status coaches are required to obtain a minimum number of Professional Development Updating Points. Updating Activities must be completed within the last two (2) years prior to applying for certification. Note: Coaches can submit activities from the previous two (2) years (2006-2007) in order to achieve the Certified status upon the introduction of the scheme from the 1st July 2008.

The minimum number of updating points required within a two (2) year period for each coaching level are as follows: 

Assistant Junior Coach

15 points

Junior Development Coach

30 points

Club Professional Coach

60 points

Competition Coach

80 points

High Performance Coach

100 points
