The Tennis NZ Calendar contains a range of events from local tournaments to National and International Events.
Individuals Events:
The ATP and WTA are the professional Men's and Women's tours.
The ITF Men's & Women's Tournaments are for aspiring professional players who are endevouring to make the ATP and WTA Professional Tours.
The ITF Junior Tournaments are for up and coming junior players who's goal is to gain an ITF Junior ranking. Tennis NZ host five NZ Junior ITF tournaments per year.
Pascoes the Jewellers NZ Tennis Championships, is the premier NZ Open tournament and is held in December each year. NZ Maori, NZ Wheechair and Senior (Veterans) also run National tournaments annually.
The NZ Junior Championships 18u is the premier NZ junior tournament and is held in December each year.
The National Championships 16u, 14u and 12u are the top level age group events in NZ for the junior players.
Regions and Associations host Open and Junior events throughout the year which are sanctioned on the Tennis NZ Calendar.
Teams Events:
The Davis Cup and Fed Cup are the most prestigious teams events in the world. NZ compete in both events.
Tennis NZ host National Junior Teams Events in the 16u, 14u and 12u age groups.
Regions and Associations host teams events throughout the year.
