CCC - Community Coach Course
It is the first step on the Tennis New Zealand Coach pathway and is a course designed for Year 11 and up students, teachers, parents, club helpers and anyone who has a general interest in Tennis who wishes to gain some basic skills in coaching Tennis. Minimum age 15 years.
Cost: $80 includes course materials and 1 day of instruction. BYO Lunch, Tennis Racquet active clothing to participate on court.

AJC - Assistant Junior Coach Course (TNZ)
The TNZ Assistant Junior Coach Course is a progressive Education, Training and Assessment, designed for Year 13 school students, University, School of Education students, Teachers and Part-time coaches contemplating a career in Tennis coaching.
The course is a compulsory three-day course followed by, within a six week period, a two day workshop combining theoretical and practical learning in online and practical units in preparation for a final assessment. We recommend that you fufill at least 40 teaching hours with a registered professional coach prior to sitting this course. Minimum age 17 years.
Cost: $685 includes course materials and 5 days instruction. BYO Lunch, tennis racquet and active clothing to participate on court.

JDC - Junior Development Coach (TA)
Tennis New Zealand is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the Tennis Australia Junior Development Course. The course will be held over 12 days in Auckland. The course is designed to train coaches to develop the skills of junior tennis players aged 4-12 years, with focus on enjoyment and learner success. The course training relates to the following areas: Coaching activities for junior tennis players, Legal & ethical responsibilities, Fundamental & Perceptual Motor skills, Self reflection, Stroke production and tactics, Rules of the game, Program planning. Minimum age 17 years.

CPC - Club Professional Coach (TA)
The Tennis Australia Club Professional Coaching Course trains coaches to become head coaching professionals at tennis clubs/centres. The course covers stroke production, tactical plans and sport sciences (biomechanics, psychology, physical conditioning, movement for tennis, etc) It also includes business development units (logos, advertising mediums, marketing materials, pricing strategies, product options, IT, the internet and email). To complete a Tennis Australia Club Professional Coaching course there are course pre-requisites that should be completed prior to entry.
The CPC course comprises of 13 units of which the first 7 are covered in the Junior Development Course. This course will be held in Australia. If you would like to complete the CPC course please contact:
