New Zealand mens' number one Dan King-Turner is playing in a E30,000 ATP Challenger Tournament in Recanati, Italy, this week.

In the first round of the main draw singles, King-Turner will face third seed Jan Hernych of the Czech Republic.

King-Turner has opted not to play doubles at this event.
