Dan King-Tumer (above) is playing in the $15,000 ITF Futures Tournament on clay courts in Dortmund, Germany this week. He's the second-ranked player on the entry list, and his first round opponent is yet to be named.

Across the Atlantic, in Godfrey Illinois, Marcus Daniell has entered for the $10,000 Futures event on hard courts there. 

The field of aspirants for the tournament was especially enthusiastic, with a 128-player darw for the qualifying rounds! Among them were New Zealanders Marvin Barker and Barrett Franks, who both lost in the second round of qualifying.
