Tennis New Zealand is very excited to introduce the new Grasshoppers website!

Grasshoppers has been a fantastic success since its launch in 2006 with more than 180,000 kiwi primary children taking part. Grasshoppers is a 4 week school based program where primary age children learn the basics of tennis from a qualified coach. The coach works with the class teacher and because Grasshoppers is delivered as a game based lesson (rather than a stand in line lesson) it means all kids are active all the time!
Kids who take part in Grasshoppers at their school can register their details at www.grasshoppersnz.co.nz. They will receive a FREE welcome pack which includes stickers, tattoos, a wristband, an activity sheet and vouchers for all the family.
Plus all registered Grasshoppers will have the chance to enter monthly competitions and receive regular newsletters with Grasshoppers news and events from all over the country.
Grasshoppers Tennis also has its own Facebook page. This page is the perfect community for parents, coaches and teachers; a great place to share ideas, tips and pictures of anything Grasshoppers!
