On Monday, April 15th, Tennis Central hosted the 16th annual Halberg Charity Tournament. This doubles round-robin tournament was once again a huge success, raising over $4,600 for the Halberg Disability Sport Foundation to enable physically disabled children a chance to play sport.

It has been 4 very exciting days for all the Tennis Central players, coaches, managers, parents and supporters involved in the 2013 National teams Event. Out of the 6 Regions (central, Auckland, canterbury, Waikato Bays, Northern & Southern), the overall result saw Tennis Central coming second...

The rain might have bucketed down outside, but inside things heated up at the Capital Coaching Central Teams event over the weekend at the Wellington Renouf Centre. Tennis Central hosted 8 teams from the region (Wellington, Hutt Valley, Kapi Mana, Taranaki, Manawatu, Wairarapa, Wanganui, Combined Team).

Grasshoppers tennis now has a brand new website with lots of new lesson plans for coaches and information for potential schools. This is also the place for children to register to join the Grasshoppers club and receive a really cool welcome pack of stickers, wristbands, etc.
