David Fank -CEO

David arrived from the UK in September 2008 to take up his role as Tennis Northern CEO, responsible for the success of the regional centres and overall sustainability of tennis in the region. David has run a successful coaching and tennis facility management company for over twenty-five years with operations across Europe. David has been a coach and coach educator for many years and is currently a member of Campbells Bay Tennis Club.

Neil Coventry - Tennis Operations Manager

Neil is a Sports Science graduate from Loughborough University in the UK with a background in sports marketing (USA) and project coordination. Neil, who started at Tennis Northern in February 2008, is responsible for all TNR tennis products including: senior and junior interclub, tournaments, indoor leagues, afterschool and holiday programmes, and the regional junior academy. Neil is currently a member of Northcote Tennis Club.

Nikki Howlett - Regional Development Manager (RDM)

Nikki joined Tennis Northern from the UK in August 2009 and as well as being a qualified tennis coach, coach educator and tournament referee, she has vast experience in developing tennis clubs and coaches. Nikki has spent many years developing programmes and pathways for all ages to gain more out of the game from beginners right the way through to regional players. Nikki is currently a member of Orewa Tennis club.

Helen Dixey - Office Manager

Helen joined Tennis Northern in November 2011. She holds an Accounting and Finance degree and has worked in various business sectors in the UK, Ireland and France, bringing a wealth of experience to the Finance and Office Manager role.

Chika Deane - Reception & Admin

Chika has been actively involved in junior tennis for many years, running regional junior tournaments and acting as an Executive Committee Junior Representative. Chika, fluent in Japanese, works in the Tennis Northern office from 2.30-5.30pm Monday-Friday organising the ever expanding range of products on offer at the Albany Tennis Park. Chika is currently a member of Browns Bay Tennis Club.

James Lewis- Intern

James is a University of Bath undergraduate in the UK, currently studying Sport and Social Sciences and has recently joined TNR to work as part of our Intern Programme. Bringing his experience in coaching tennis and sports development, James will be undertaking many different projects, including the development of University tennis clubs and programmes, senior tennis communications, event assistance and interclub administration.
