|
| |
The 2012 Married Couples tournament was held on Sunday 27 May at Otumoetai Tennis Club. It was good to see an increase in entry numbers from previous years. This is a long running tournament, with the trophy showing it was first competed for in 1980. Players competed in either the Championship or Social Grade.
The Championship grade was once again won by Rob & Anita Walpole with Peter & Deb White coming Runner Up.
The Social grade was won by Steve & Karen McIntosh, Runners Up Greg & Carol Delaney, Flight winners Peter & Marilyn Wood, Plate Winners Steve & Dee Brown and Consolation Plate winners Brent & Chris Eden.
An enjoyable day was had by all.
