Congratulations to all winners in the various age groups and many thanks to all the parent helpers/managers for their part played in making these events possible. A particular mention to Thames Valley for fielding teams in each event this year and as usual to Hawkes Bay teams who had the most distance to travel. |

Waikato players compete against each other in battle of Collegiate Tennis Andy van der Vyver was a pivotal player in his college match for the New Mexico University against Alex Hamilton's team from the University of Stockton, California. Andy played in the number 5 singles as a Freshman to the university and won the deciding match to give his college the winning points. I'm sure both of them enjoyed the catch-up as well as the competition.
