Congratulations to all winners in the various age groups and many thanks to all the parent helpers/managers for their part played in making these events possible. A particular mention to Thames Valley for fielding teams in each event this year and as usual to Hawkes Bay teams who had the most distance to travel.

Waikato players compete against each other in battle of Collegiate Tennis Andy van der Vyver was a pivotal player in his college match for the New Mexico University against Alex Hamilton's team from the University of Stockton, California. Andy played in the number 5 singles as a Freshman to the university and won the deciding match to give his college the winning points. I'm sure both of them enjoyed the catch-up as well as the competition.
